Writer’s choice

Choose either Aristotle’s essay or Hsun Tzu’s essay, and consider the events of the play Titus Andronicus so far, through Acts 1 & 2. If you’re focusing on Aristotle’s essay, would any characters fit his definition of a “happy man”? (Assume here that “man” ＝ “any person;” we’re using a translation of the Greek, of course!) If not, why not? Would any characters have had the chance to achieve happiness but failed to do so, or might any of them still achieve happiness? Is this a play in which the goals of the rulers seem to agree with Aristotle’s ideas about good statecraft—or not?
