In this assignment, you will draw a light plot of an interior space using Vectorworks. Do the following to complete the assignment: Select a room in your home (the living room is often best) that has multiple lights that operate independently of one another. Measure out and draw your living room to scale in Vectorworks. Remember to include furniture, doors, windows, etc. At night, turn off all lights in the room except one, and draw a plot of how that light illuminates the room, measuring out the radius of illumination. Repeat the third step (At night, turn off all lights…) for each light source in the room, including windows. The goal is simply to draft a light plot that accurately reflects the spread of light in the space. Write a concept statement, or hook, explaining the rationale behind each of your choices.
