The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) regulate command, control, and communication links, which are a fundamental requirement for every type of unmanned system (e.g., aircraft, maritime, ground, space). Your assignment is to describe each of the functions (e.g., spectrum authorization, personnel licensing) the FCC and NTIA perform as related to unmanned systems and contrast and compare the current issues with the spectrum for each type of unmanned system.
