Automation Audit

You are a freelance communication specialist who has been commissioned to write a report on the topic of automation in digital media and communication. Your client is confused about the concepts and technologies involved, and how they apply to real-world examples. You decide to provide an in-depth analysis that describes the various forms of automation that are present on YouTube, including an analysis and evaluation of their functions and potential social, political or ethical implications. Note: The app walkthrough method will provide the foundations for your analysis of YouTube. An explanation of the walkthrough method can be found in Module 2. For this assignment you will write an automation audit report. The content of the report will be assessed as two main components: • the application walkthrough • the critical analysis of the forms of automation present, their function and potential social, political and ethical implications.
