A recent complaint of sexual assault is reported to the police within 24 hours. The assault occurred in the home of the victim that is shared with their significant other. The significant other is out of town; however, they had sex with each other two days prior to the assault. The victim states the suspect vaginally penetrated her vagina, licked on her breasts and necks, performed oral sex on her, and digitally penetrated her rectum. The victim stated the suspect ejaculated on her stomach, on the sheets, and in her vagina. What evidence should be collected? And from whom? What collection issues may exist?
