1. Provide your research question or hypothesis. 2. Identify the variable(s) and population in the research question or hypothesis. 3. Describe how the research question or hypothesis is sociological. For instance, describe how it focuses on at least course concept, example of a course concept, and/or sociological explanation. 4. State if you will use surveys or interviews to collect data. 5. Describe how surveys or interviews are appropriate for your research question or hypothesis. You can address each item in a separate paragraph or provide the number of the item and then the relevant information. If you work with a partner, only one of you needs to submit the assignment; just be sure to include both names on the document. You and your partner will receive the same grade, unless one partner has not contributed equally (or as expected). If you are having problems with a partner, please bring the matter to my attention immediately so I am aware of it and can potentially help you resolve it. A partner who has not contributed equally (or as expected) to an assignment may receive a lower grade.
